"A ship from the past", Oil on Panel, 2064.
Painted during the third oil crash of February 2064, this painting was meant to question the viewer's linear conception of progress and history. The replica of a 20th century Breton Sinagot is seen sailing past the rusted hull of a container ship.
Painting Number #2 in the post-collapse series.
I'm tired of how we're not talking about the elephant in the room; that due to our reliance on burning hydrocarbons our civilization is right on trajectory for total collapse. So now I make paintings about it.
